OzBrain for Gemini

Give Gemini Spark the same brain.

Updated

OzBrain connects to Gemini Spark as a custom MCP app. After you approve once in the Gemini web app, Spark can read your routing index, pull the articles a task needs, and stage new knowledge so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and every other connected agent share the same facts.

Google gates this feature. You need Gemini Spark eligibility, you must be 18 or over in the US, signed in with a personal Google Account (not work or school), English only, and Keep Activity on. If you are outside those gates, this page documents the path; it does not unlock Google's access rules.

Create your brain

Add the MCP URL in Gemini settings, approve once.

  1. 01

    Open Connected Apps

On a computer, go to gemini.google.com. Open Settings and help, then Connected Apps. If you do not see Connected Apps, open Personal Intelligence, then Connected Apps.
  2. 02

    Add OzBrain

Under Custom apps for Spark, paste the MCP URL and continue. OzBrain supports Dynamic Client Registration, so you should not need Advanced credentials. Approve the OzBrain consent screen when the browser opens.

    Use it in Spark

After it is linked, the custom app works in Gemini Spark on web and mobile. To steer a prompt at OzBrain, type @ and choose the app. Ask it to read your routing index.

What Gemini can do once connected

The connector exposes your brain as tools. Gemini decides when to use them, and every write is attributed in the article history.

Read the routing index

A compact listing of every article and what it covers, so Spark starts from structure instead of a private digest.

Pull the articles a task needs

Drafting, planning, or follow-up can read voice rules, client notes, and current decisions without you re-pasting them.

Stage new knowledge

Worth-keeping facts stage into the same brain your other agents write to, with provenance for who made the change.

Surface conflicts before they land

If a write contradicts what the brain holds, the write pauses and Gemini sees the conflict. It can record an exception; a different agent or you must approve a supersede.

Built for Gemini Spark

The OzBrain MCP endpoint speaks Streamable HTTP and supports Dynamic Client Registration, matching Google's published requirements.

Keep Gemini. Connect the brain under it.

Gemini remains the surface. OzBrain holds the structured knowledge every agent shares, including people you grant access to.

Create your brain, add the MCP URL under Custom apps for Spark if you have access, approve once, then ask Spark to read the routing index.

Questions people ask before connecting

Why can't I see Custom apps for Spark?

Google limits the feature to Gemini Spark eligibility, ages 18+, US location, personal Google Accounts, English, and Keep Activity on. Work and school accounts are out for now. Check Google's Gemini Apps help for the current gates.

Do I need manual OAuth credentials?

Usually no. OzBrain supports Dynamic Client Registration. If Gemini shows Advanced features, that path is for servers without registration; leave it alone for OzBrain unless Google asks for it.

Does this replace Gemini memory?

No. Gemini can keep its own recall. OzBrain holds structured, shared canon across Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and anyone you grant the brain to.

The brain behind every agent.
